Anugerah Planet Muzik 2006...

I had front seats to this show featured last Friday. In front of my TV, that is. I must say that this year's show seems much more fun than last year. And there seems to be so much performers this year, which is really a good thing.

Superb performances:
1) M. Nasir - His rendition of "Juwita" makes me like the song more and more. He sure seems very enthu in this performance. Hehe.
2) Siti Nurhaliza, Marcell, Rossa & Anuar Zain - 4 wonderful and ear-pleasing vocal. I was wondering who they would let Siti perform with this year. And I must say a good performance by the four of them. Even if i prefer Siti's performance with KD and Melly last year. One more thing: Rossa is so CUTE!!! =p
3) Ahli Fiqir - Their performance, as usual, was nothing short of spectacular. And I think it's gd that they sang "Inilah Barisan Kita" instead of "Angguk Angguk Geleng Geleng". Too much of that song. Ruffedge's performance of "Tipah Tertipu" at APM last year just made me bored after seeing them perform for so many times.

Enjoyable performances:
1) Mawi & Taufik Batisah - I still dun get it why Mawi is so popular, considering that I think his voice isn't that vocally superb. And the "Gadis Melayu" rendition by both of them sounds a bit odd. But still ookie performance.
2) Eka Mairina, Vince, Adam & Nikki - Great vocal by Eka and of course one of my fav songs at the moment, "Caramu", make it an enjoyable one. Even if there's some mistake when Vince drop the mike. Hehe.
3) Ferhad, Jaclyn Victor & Syed Azmir - A good performance too, with Jaclyn overpowering both guys easily with her vocal.

Kinda weird performance:
1) Ratu - That is sure one weird performance. They look like some porn stars. Haha. And of course the "Aah Aah Aah" part. Hilarious.
2) Gigi - The vocalist seems to be in a world of his own. This performance just seems to stick out among all the performances, not because it was superb, but just plain weird. But I must say after hearing the song, it kinda buzz thru my head again and again.

Great hosting, esp by that Indonesian host. Another cutie. More Singapore artists were being given the chancew to perform. And I think more winners were in attendance this year than any other years. Hehe. Overall, an enjoyable one. Just that Dayang's performance wasn't shown due to some technical error. Damnz... Hehe. Anyway, looking forward to next year...
